“I’m sure everyone playing with a postcode starting with LD1 5 will be buzzing with excitement and eager to find out exactly how much they’ve won,” said Mr Johnson.

“I can’t wait to meet them this weekend and celebrate alongside them. What a way to start 2024 – llongyfarchiadau.”

The lottery sees people play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

Since its founding players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.2 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.

This has included good causes close to the winners such as Powys Samaritans in Llandrindod Wells who received £14,000 last year to provide confidential mental health support to people in the area.

This Postcode Millions draw was held on behalf of Postcode Support Trust, which funds charities including Missing People and the Royal Voluntary Service.
