Llanidloes could see its blue cardboard bins removed from a car park.
Councillor Glyn Preston told Llanidloes Town Council that a lorry which he described as “at the end of its life” keeps breaking down.
He added that there had been an “abuse of the service”, fly tipping and businesses wrongly dumping waste at the Gro car park.
“The mess and eye sore it causes might be a relief when it’s removed,” he added.
