The crash appears to have damaged a section of barriers on the road from the Kerry Road roundabout and the Dolfor Road roundabout.
This according to Traffic North and Mid Wales will require repair work and they will have to put in speed restrictions to keep workers safe.
A spokesperson for Traffic Wales said: "Due to damaged barriers on theA483 between Kerry Road roundabout and the Dolfor Road roundabout, there will be a 30mph limit set for drivers safety.
"An update will be posted once the works have been completed."
