A Mid Wales valley will be hosting a celebration of Welsh artists showcasing their creations, from food and drink to works of art.

Taking place at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre against the backdrop of Caban Coch dam, visitors are invited on Saturday, April 6, to take part in a celebration of Welsh food and beverages, sweet treats, unique gifts, handcrafted garments, and jewellery, art pieces and charming home décor.

The pop-up event will be held between 10am and 3pm, where artists and stallholders will be showcasing the various creations to visitors, as organisers hope there will be something to delight everyone.

Among the stallholders will be Amanda Skipsey, a local artist and illustrator based in Rhayader renowned for her paintings and crafts, as well as bespoke handmade chocolates from MAC Chocolates.

Lavender Ceramics, a small pottery business from Mid Wales, will present a range of exquisite handmade items, Morgan’s Brew Tea will serve as a special treat for tea drinkers and Rhiannon will be showcasing skills with realistic hand-drawn animal portraits.

Organisers have promised a “diverse array of stallholders” and “a fun day for all who attend”.
