A MAN is due to appear in court this morning (May 24) charged with wounding another man in Welshpool over the weekend.
Jed Robertson, 27, is set to appear at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police said the victim suffered “traumatic injuries” in the incident, which occurred at the Raven Inn, Welshpool, on Sunday, May 22.

“Following an incident at the Raven Inn, Welshpool, on Sunday (22 May), Dyfed Powys Police has charged a 27-year-old man,” said a police spokesperson.
“Jed Robertson has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
“He was remanded in police custody and will appear at Welshpool Magistrates Court today (24 May). A man was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.”
The victim was airlifted to hospital following the incident shortly before 4.30pm.
