A POWYS location has been named one of the UK’s top picnic spots by a leading tourism website.

Holiday lettings company holidaycottagees.com has published a list of top picnic spots across the UK, and amongst that list is Powys’ own Lake Vyrnwy.

The list was assembled by leading experts and includes locations from Dorset, Surrey and Northumberland, as well as Lake Vyrnwy.
