WATERLOO Rovers Football Club will compete in their first ever Emrys Morgan Cup final at the end of the season.

Goals from Ian MacLeod and a Tom Ellis penalty sealed a 2-0 win over Bow Street Reserves in Tuesday night’s semi-final in Llanidloes.

The MMP Central Wales League North side will take on Montgomery Town or Bargod Rangers in the final.

Rovers official Dave Proctor said: “We are over the moon in reaching the final for the first time in the club’s history.

"All credit to the management team and players. Hopefully we can go on and create more history by winning it on Good Friday.”
