RADNOR Valley have strengthened with two key additions

The Ardal North East League side have bolstered with the signing of forward Liam Jones from Hellenic League Premier Division side Hereford Pegasus.

Jones will boost the Goats’ ranks as the club strive to end their debut season in the Ardal North East League on a high.

Meanwhile the club has also welcomed Roy Simcock to the Bypass following his departure from MMP Central Wales League South side Presteigne St Andrews after a long association with the Llanandras Park club.

A club spokesman said: “Roy has been a fantastic servant of neighbouring Presteigne St Andrews FC and his work on and off the pitch will be a huge benefit going forward for Radnor. 

“A lot of the players in the current squad have had Roy as a coach whiled playing Under 18 football from which Radnor have benefitted hugely from. 

“With exciting things happening on and off the pitch we as a club are hugely lucky to have Roy join us.”

Meanwhile forward Taylor Wozencraft has departed to join MMP Central Wales League South side Knighton Town.
