CAERSWS Football Club host two cup finals on Saturday.

Ardal North East League side Bow Street take on Ardal North West League champions Denbigh Town in the Ardal League Cup final at 2.30pm.

Meanwhile Llansantffraid take on Barmouth United in the final of the MMP Central Wales League Cup at 7pm.

Manager Marc Griffiths said: “It would be a great way to cap off a positive first season at the club.

“The lads have been fantastic all year and they deserve the opportunity to bring home some silverware.

“Barmouth will provide a big test for us but we can go into it with confidence.”

It is the third cup final the village club has hosted this season having also staged the Fulda Montgomeryshire Cup final between Llanidloes Town and Kerry last month.

The Ardal North East League champions are currently sweating on an appeal to join the JD Cymru North after their initial application was rejected a fortnight ago.
