NEWTOWN golf star Isaac Jones has been called up to the Wales Under 16 team to play in the European Young Masters later this month.
The 15 year old from Milford Road in Newtown is a former junior captain at St Giles Golf Club and will play in a four-strong team at Sedin Golf Club, Slovakia from July 27-29.
Isaac, who is a current member of Oswestry Golf Club, is a regular player for Shropshire Schoolboys.

He follows cousin Connor Owen and Connor Jones from the Newtown based golf club in gaining international honours with Wales.
Both Connor Jones and Connor Owen, are currently playing their golf in American universities.
Isaac is hoping his current success will help attract local sponsors to support his career.
