A petrol station business in Newtown has told motorists they will not be able to refuel for two weeks while refurbishment works continue on site.

Bradleys Costcutter in Llanidloes Road said the forecourt will be closed from Monday, July 10, in order to complete works to pipes, new pumps and groundworks.

The business emphasised that the Costcutter convenience store will remain open while the forecourt is closed.

“Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we will of course keep you up to date with any other changes to these timings,” Bradleys said.

“Thank you for your cooperation.”

Customers were told early last month that refurbishment work at the Texaco petrol station would begin on Monday, June 12.
