MARIA Francis-Jones has joined the Welsh squad ahead of the crunch UEFA Nations League double header at the end of this month.
The Llanidloes born and raised defender joined Chloe Williams in linking up with their national team team-mates today ahead of the forthcoming clashes against Germany and Denmark.
Wales have endured a nightmare Nations League with defeats against Iceland and Denmark meaning the Dragons prop up the table and must now take points in Germany on Friday and against Denmark in Swansea on Tuesday or face elimination.

The 20-year-old full-back began her career at Cardiff City before moving to the Manchester City academy in 2021 and following spells at Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United she joined Burnley last August.
She has captained Wales at Under-19 level and made her senior Wales debut in March 2020 against Estonia.
Francis-Jones will link up with Bristol City forward and fellow Powysian Carrie Jones from Newtown and Liverpool winger Ceri Holland who qualifies for Wales through her Llanrhaeadr born mother.
