HAFREN Cycling Club hosted more than 200 riders for the final round of the Welsh MTB series and Welsh MTB Championships at Glynhafren farm near Llanidloes this month.
Hafren CC thanked sponsors Cambrian Tyres, Goodyear Bicycle Tyres, Brooks Cycles, Trailhead Bicycle Company, Gilbert Davies Solicitors and Co-op Supermarket.
The ladies, juvenile and youth class races were held in fine conditions as riders tackled a challenging course before the heavens opened for the male class races and produced some thrills and spills as competitors struggled in the slippery conditions.
A host of Powys riders ended up on the podium.
