A YOUNG rugby fan from Llanfair Caereinion lived the dream on the weekend as official mascot for Wales' clash against England.

Freddie Owen, an Ysgol Bro Caereinion student and COBRA junior player, rubbed shoulders with some of the stars of the Welsh national squad ahead of their 20-9 win.

Freddie said it was "a dream come true" after walking down the tunnel with Jac Morgan on his first captaincy for the senior Wales team and it will be a day he remembers for a long long time.
