A MAN is set for trial next year, after denying a string of offences in Powys – including threatening to kill two people and trying to blackmail someone for £50,000.
Bo Winmill, 31, entered not guilty pleas to six of the seven charges that were put to him when he appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday, July 10.
All of the offences are alleged to have taken place in Llanfair Caereinion on June 7 this year.
Winmill, of Wolverhampton Road, Kingswinford, near Dudley, denies making threats to kill towards Sue Brook-Wilkes and Shaun Wilkes.
He also denied one charge of blackmail – with the charge stating he made unwarranted demands with menaces of Shaun Wilkes, for £50,000.

He denied three counts in relation to Francesca Brook-Wilkes, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation and theft; he is accused of stealing £300 from her.
Winmill did admit criminal damage, in that he damaged a bedside shelf belonging to Andrew Cordingley.
Judge Nicola Jones told Winmill his trial, expected to last for four days, will begin on March 9 next year.
Winmill was granted conditional bail; this states that he must abide by a daily curfew requirement, which says he must remain at his home address between 8pm and 8am.
