A MAN who denies controlling and coercive behaviour in Powys has denied the offence and will face a trial later this year.
Sam Trommelen, 30, appeared in custody at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 30, where he denied an offence.
It is alleged the controlling and coercive behaviour was carried out between June 8 and 26.

The defendant, of Troed y Rhiw, Meifod, opted for a trial at the magistrates’ court and this will take place in Welshpool on August 10.
A bail application was denied and he will remain on remand until his trial date.
