A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision in Powys at the weekend.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on the busy A470 near the Storey Arms in the Brecon Beacons/Bannau Brycheiniog just after 4pm on Saturday, March 14.
It is believed the road was shut for only a short time following the incident.

“Dyfed-Powys Police received a call from the ambulance service at just after 4pm on Saturday 14 March, regarding a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on the A470, between Libanus and Nant-Ddu,” said the force.
“The road was closed while an air ambulance attended and took the motorcyclist to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
Traffic Wales reported that the road was closed in both directions following the crash and although it is not clear when the road re-opened, police confirmed that it was only shut for a short time.
