ONE man was arrested for a public order offence after multiple police officers and vehicles attended an incident in Builth Wells last week.
Two Dyfed Powys Police vans and two cars, plus several officers, were in attendance in Builth town centre following the incident, which occurred at around 8pm on Thursday, July 4.
Witnesses described seeing a man with his blood on his face on High Street.
“Dyfed-Powys Police attended High Street, Builth Wells, on Thursday evening approximately 8.30pm, following reports of a disorder,” the force said in a statement.
“Jonathan Burchell, 51, was arrested and charged with a Section 5 public order offence and will next appear in Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on August 14, 2024.”
One van, with its lights flashing, was seen parked on the junction where the A483 and A470 meet in Builth, outside the Lion Hotel.
