Machynlleth Fire Station has welcomed its newest recruit, who is following in his father’s footsteps as a full-time firefighter.
On Tuesday, May 14, Mid and West Wales Fire Service welcomed a new addition to the team at Machynlleth in the form of Aidan Roberts.
Their newest team member is especially notable because Aidan is the son of one of the station’s other serving firefighters, David Roberts, who has been a firefighter at Machynlleth station for many years.
