WITH wedding season underway and summer approaching, a reputable Powys hotel has unveiled its stunning new garden courtyard, as part of an outside transformation.

The Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells has been busy regenerating its underused outdoor spaces, and has introduced a plush new outdoor garden area which is an extension to the spa town hotel’s garden suite function area.

After last week’s sunny weather, and with more of that hopefully on the way in the coming months, the garden courtyard is sure to be a popular fixture for locals and wedding guests.

“The Garden Courtyard is an extension to the Garden Suite function suite which will be a fantastic new space for wedding ceremonies, drink receptions, conferences, motor clubs, outdoor wellbeing events and more,” said Lauren Bingley, the Metropole’s sales office manager.

“The design was created by me and bought to life by Nathan Jones and his team at Little Shed, a relatively new landscape company from Newtown.

“It’s a part of the regeneration of our underused outdoor spaces. First, we had the solar panel project on the other garden area, now the courtyard renovation and next we’re working on our biodiversity garden scheme to use any underused spaces in the solar garden for wild habitats.

“We’re working with the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust, Wild Llandrindod and the Powys Local Places for Nature Scheme.

“If anybody wanted to contact me regarding booking the Garden Suite/Courtyard my email is salesmanager@metropole.co.uk.”

The hotel is open as a beer garden throughout the week and available to hire for exclusive use too.

The Metropole would also like to thank Mike Morgan & Sons Electrical for keeping the garden lit up after dark.
