PUPILS from a Powys secondary school have flourished in a national writing competition.
This year’s theme for Rotary UK’s annual Young Writers competition was an inspiring word - rebuilding.
The local heats were organised by Builth Wells Rotary Club and Ysgol Calon Cymru’s head of English, Anwen Nicholls.
This title really motivated the students into creating some wonderful entries of a particularly high standard. The three judges had a hard time making their decision.
