Machynlleth Carnival will be holding their popular Colour Run event for a second year, and have introduced a new theme for the craft competition.
After a successful inaugural event in 2023, Machynlleth carnival organisers confirmed that they will be holding another Colour Run on June 23 in the lead up to the 2024 carnival.
The event saw runners taking on a 5k course across the rugby and football pitch, then through the Plas grounds, being sprayed with coloured powder as they ran.
After the 2023 event, organisers said: “A massive Thank You to all that took part and supported us in our first time ever organising this event, I think it’s clear to say that you all enjoyed. Next year we’ll open it up and allow more entries.”

In an effort to engage the community's young artists to draw or create their own imaginative interpretations of the clock, with the deadline for entries being July 3.
