A 41-mile overnight detour will be in force on the main road between Welshpool and Shrewsbury when it closes later this month.
A detour will be in place on the A458 overnight between Welshpool and Shrewsbury later this month while essential repairs are made to the road.
The closures which will take place overnight between March 24- 28 and will see essential resurfacing work take place on the main road.

The closure will see an official diversion being put in place that will see motorists having to take a diversion via Oswestry using the A5 and the A483.
Between March 24 and March 26 the A458 will be fully closed in both directions between Yockleton Road junction and Sandy Lane junction.
March 27 will see the road fully closed between A458/But Lane junction and Churncote Roundabout while on March 28 the stretch from the English border and the Rowton Avenue junction will be closed.
