Talybont Stores, a convenience store, Post Office and café near Brecon has been sold after the previous owner decide to retire.
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co who handled the sale of the store, said there was a lot of interest in buying the business.

Talybont Stores was previously owned and operated by Robert Jones, who sold it in order to retire and move abroad.
Mr Jones said “Joe at Christie & Co was recommended to me by a friend at my local cash and carry, l decided to contact them for an initial conversation.
During the whole process, Joe was at the end of a phone and took a lot of pressure off us, right up to the day of completion.”
The agents said there had been a lot of interest because the store is “surrounded by scenic countryside and benefits from passing and tourist trade” and that “due to its varied offerings and spacious café area, the business is also considered a hub for locals.”
Joe Brayne, Senior Business Agent at Christie & Co who handled the sale, said: “It was a pleasure working with both parties to satisfactory completion. We had a number of viewings and multiple offers which shows how attractive the business and area are.”
