A ROAD near Newtown was closed for several hours following a collision on Friday evening (March 8).
Dyfed Powys Police tweeted just before 7pm that the B4389 between New Mills and Tregynon was closed due to the crash.
βThe road is currently closed due to a collision,β said the force. Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.β
It is not known for how long the road was closed, but witnesses posting on the North Powys Community Travel Alerts Facebook said it remained shut at 11pm.
One user said that the road had reopened by 7.30am on Saturday.
