A POWYS man accused of threatening one of his neighbours received some good news this week when he turned up to court – that the case against him had been dismissed.
Christopher Bosley, 61, from Llanidloes, faced a charge of threatening Terence Thomas on June 16 last year in Penygraig Street.
Bosley had initially appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court in January but said he did not feel able to plead due to some confusion around the charge, and his case was adjourned.
On Tuesday, March 5, however, he was told he was free to go.
Prosecutor Justin Espie told magistrates: “The charge is formerly withdrawn. A postal requisition was issued three days late and I have advised Mr Boswell he’s free to go.”
