Machynlleth fire station has welcomed its newest recruit to the team, as the crew continues to look for more potential newcomers.
On Tuesday, February 13, Machynlleth Fire Station welcomed the newest member to their branch of the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, as Gavin Robinson officially joined the station as their newest firefighter.
The new member of the Machynlleth crew comes after a big effort by the station to recruit new firefighters to the team.
Writing on social media, a spokesperson for the station said: “Tonight we warmly welcomed our latest recruit, FF Gavin Robinson, to Machynlleth Fire Station.

“We are still recruiting for Machynlleth Fire Station and look forward to hearing from any new prospective recruits.”
Anyone interested is invited to visit the station on Tuesdays between 6pm and 8.30pm, or fill out an online form to express interest in joining.
