A ROAD in Powys was closed earlier today after a police vehicle overturned, the force has confirmed.
Dyfed Powys Police said that no officers were injured in the road traffic collision, which occurred near Brecon, just before 11am on Friday.
The crash occurred on the A40, with Traffic Wales reporting that the road was closed in both directions for several hours. The force reported that the road reopened around 1pm.
“Dyfed Powys Police received a report of a road traffic collision just before 11am today (February 2) on the A40 east bound between Llanhamlach and Scethrog,” said the force in a statement.
“A police vehicle overturned and has since been recovered. No injuries were reported at the time. The road is now open."
