Firefighters were called out to an incident at a property near the Powys border.
A fire engine from Bishop's Castle attended the scene in Whitcot, Norbury shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (Monday, January 22).
The crew removed a log burner and heat plate after they were called to a chimney fire at the rural property.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters had extinguished embers on top of the heat plate before using a thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
