Fire crews were called out to reports of a flood at a British Legion hall on the Powys border.
Crews in Bishop's Castle were scrambled after a flood at the local British Legion Hall yesterday evening (January 19) which was affecting the building's electrics.
According to Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service , the flood thankfully did not lead to any further complications and was "isolated" by firefighters at the scene before any serious damage could occur.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said: "At 18:49 on Thursday, January 18, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flood Affecting Electrics in Bishops Castle.
"One fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle. Attending crews used small gear."
"Crews isolated water and gave advice to responsible person."
