PUPILS at a Powys primary school have received an early Christmas present after a local organisation donated money towards the school’s dream of building an outdoor classroom.
Builth Wells Rotary Club was approached by Llanelwedd Church in Wales Primary School, requesting help with an external classroom project.
The school is seeking help in fundraising to buy an outdoor classroom, to help enhance the children’s access to the outdoors and aid in nurturing a working outdoor environment.

The proposed use can be a quiet space, with a reading area or a project room.
The 12-month project is expected to cost £4,940, which will be used to purchase and install a woodland classroom.
Builth Wells Rotary Club is always on hand to help local projects and generously gifted a cheque for £500, hoping this will go some way towards making the outdoor classroom dream a reality, as well as encourage others to help the children in their development.
