In September the Arts Council Wales allocated funds to Arts organisations across Wales.
Wyeside Arts Centre was delighted to be recognised for the quality of what it offers as it became a brand new recipient of a direct grant!
However, as Jane Dodds MS said in the Senedd, that grant proved to be the smallest in Wales and just 20% of what Wyeside needs.
OTHER NEWS:
- Driver, 87, who died in Middletown crash involving bus named as inquest opens
- Road closure to be in place for funeral of beloved Newtown soldier
- Mid Wales' original recycling group shuts doors after 37 years of operations
The Arts Centre opens its doors more than 300 days every year.
Wyeside needs you to be a friend, and for less than the cost of your weekly cup of coffee you could help us to continue to host live shows, the very best satellite productions, community events, and films for all ages.
