A POWYS man has been fined for breaching a court order he received earlier this year for stealing on two separate occasions from the same hotel.
Mathew Radburn stole nearly £200 worth of items from the Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells on two separate occasions, in April and May this year.
Radburn entered the hotel in the early hours of April 26 and May 6 and was caught on CCTV stealing various items.
Radburn stole drinks and chocolate valued at £79.48p on the first occasion and on the other occasion stole an amount of meat valued at £110.

The 34-year-old, of Hillcrest Rise, Llandrindod, was handed a 12-month community order as punishment, with a requirement to complete 15 rehabilitation days and 60 hours of unpaid work.
Landrindod Wells Magistrates’ Court heard on Wednesday, November 22, that Radburn had completed his unpaid work, but had breached the order by failing to attend office appointments on October 17 and 24.
Radburn, who admitted the breach, told the court he had been struggling badly with his mental health of late, which included going through a break-up with his wife.
Pat Matthews, representing him, said: “He has been struggling to leave the house. His mental health has been really bad lately.
“Prior to this he has been complying, he has completed all the unpaid work.”
Radburn was fined £40 and told to work with probation and find a way to complete his outstanding rehabilitation days.
