AN arrest warrant has been issued for a Powys woman after she failed to attend court to answer shoplifting charges.
Lisa Meredith, 41, had been due at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 8, in relation to two theft charges from Tesco.
Meredith, of Trefonen Way, Llandrindod, is accused of stealing groceries and other items, valued at £24.84, from the spa town supermarket on September 3. She is also accused of stealing an unknown quantity of alcohol from the same store on June 13.
Meredith failed to appear at court and magistrates issued a warrant for her arrest.
