A MAN will appear before a district judge after pleading not guilty to a charge of failing to provide a specimen to police.
Matthew Thomas Griffiths, 36, had been stopped by police on October 7 in Newtown while driving. He was at Newtown Police Station where the offence of failing to provide specimen for analysis was alleged to have occurred.
Griffiths, of Horseway Head, Staunton on Arrow, near Leominster, denied the charge when appearing at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 31.
Griffiths’ case was adjourned and is to be set down for trial, but he will next appear before a district judge at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court on December 5.
