A dog and their owner had to be rescued after both getting injured on Pen-y-fan in Powys.
Brecon Mountain Rescue were called out at the end of last month after reports of a dog and their owner being injured whilst climbing the famous Powys peak.
Thankfully the owner was able to be walked off the peak however the dog had to be stretchered off the mountain after the team asked for assistance from Dyfed-Powys Police.
The force provided an expert dog handler to get the injured canine down the slopes and stopping it from being too distressed.

A spokesperson for the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: "The team were called to the Pen y Fan area to assist a walker and their dog who were both injured.
"The dog was carried off by stretcher and the owner was walked off after being assessed by our casualty carer.
"Many thanks to the police for their assistance with dog handler Dyfed-Powys Police."
