A WOMAN from Llandrindod Wells has admitted stealing more than £300 worth of goods from Tesco.

Cassey Heenan, 20, pleaded guilty to theft when she appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court on Wednesday, September 27.

Heenan, of Glan yr Ithon, Llandrindod, committed the offence on March 20, stealing goods valued at £331.18 from the Waterloo Road store.

The court heard an application to delay sentencing until next month so that the case can be tied in with matters at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court involving the defendant.

OTHER NEWS:

Heenan is due before the district judge in Merthyr on October 25 for other matters, as well as a warrant for breaching a community order.

Heenan said: “I’m a good girl, I don’t mean to be naughty, I’m just going through a lot at the moment and I’m easily led.”

Magistrates said they would consolidate all matters so they can be heard in one place, telling Heenan that sentencing for the Tesco theft will be heard on the same day as the other matters, in October.
