“We are very happy to be welcoming Brenig to Llangurig for what is bound to be a great evening of music and song,” a spokesperson for the community centre said.

“We are equally pleased that this concert is being supported through the Noson Allan scheme; the first time that an event in Llangurig has been helped by this scheme bringing music and the arts to rural areas.”

The concert adds to the regular Monday coffee mornings at the Centre and is the first in a series of different events that will run through the autumn and winter.

All the events will aim to raise funds to support the work of the community centre.
