A WORLD-leading international arts programme showcasing the issues caused by climate change is coming to Powys for the first time this month.

Earth Photo 2023 opens at the Sidney Nolan Trust in Presteigne on Thursday, July 13, and will run until September 30. It is the first time the hugely prestigious exhibition has toured Powys.

Created in 2018 by Forestry England, the Royal Geographical Society and Parker Harris, Earth Photo is a world-leading international programme engaging with still and moving image makers to showcase the issues affecting the climate and life on our planet. Earth Photo’s main objective is to reveal the narratives behind the pictures, encouraging conversations about our world, its people, environments and the changing climate.
