NEWTOWN'S Oriel Davies Gallery is the penultimate destination of Aildanio, the Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) Arts Prize exhibition.

It will be the last chance for people to come and view the exhibition, which finishes on July 8, before it moves to the last venue in Swansea.

One of the 25 artists chosen is Newtown's Deborah Dalton, who also works as a Visitor Experience Manager at the Gallery.

Deborah, who is light sensitive, ASD, said: "I was so pleased to have my work chosen for this exhibition.

“It is great to see my work at Oriel alongside such talented and inspiring artists."

OTHER NEWS:

“She began volunteering at Oriel Davies while studying, joined the relief team, working as a gallery guide, front of house assistant, and eventually Visitor Experience Manager, welcoming our visitors to Oriel Davies, supporting volunteers, and enhancing how people experience the gallery.

“Deborah's large scale landscape drawings show an aerial view of her local area around Abermule, from Dolforwyn.

“She uses drawings and black and white photography as a starting point for her work, using a toned background to assist recognition and understand perceptions.”
