Welshpool Music Club is organising a concert featuring an internationally-acclaimed pianist. 

On Thursday, April 13, South Korean pianist Young-Choon Park, who began to learn the piano at the age of four and gave her first recital at the age of seven, will perform at Welshpool Methodist Church.

Her Welshpool recital will see her perform a number of pieces by Beethoven, Brahms and Chopin.

She has performed with many leading orchestras throughout the world. 

A spokesperson for Welshpool Music Club said: “To hear her in Welshpool is not only a rare opportunity but a real privilege.”

The concert commences at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church, High Street, with an admission charge of £15 which can be made on the night. 

Members of the Welshpool Music Club are free and students can pay £5.
