THE Powell family from Dolau have donated £700 to the Llandrindod Wells branch of Cancer Research UK after they held a raffle in memory of their father Idris Powell, who passed away earlier this year.
The Coco’s Wild Camp based at Upper Farm, Dolau, is run by Stephen Powell and family. They raised £450 from a raffle and his sister Shirley Hughes, who runs the Nash Oakland wild camp, near Presteigne, raised a further £250, so a total of £700 from the Powell family went to the charity.
