A NEWTOWN man who denies being drunk and disorderly in public has taken his case to trial.

Philip Malcolm Jones, 65, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on September 6, where he denied the sole charge of being drunk and disorderly in Broad Street, Newtown, on August 19 this year.
