NATURE and entertainment will combine this weekend as the Willow Globe Company’s rendition of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ is performed at the magical gardens of Llysdinam, near Newbridge-on-Wye.
After some wonderful performances early in the summer at the Willow Globe, this fine company of local actors return with their own rumbustious flavour to Shakespeare’s joyous As You Like It – a perennial favourite for audiences everywhere and never more so than in difficult times.
A cast ranging in age from 11 to 74 bring us scenes of sibling rivalry, a fabulous wrestling match, parted lovers, disguises, banishment and escape, and of course a happy ending, all laced together with philosophy, wit, laughter and music.

Past audiences have hugely enjoyed the production and sent lovely feedback.
Llysdinam Gardens open from 1-4pm, with the performance of As You Like It taking place from 5-7.30pm with an interval. Bring your own seating and dress for the weather.
