The incident affected the A487 in Aberystwyth, leading to a full closure of Northgate Street. The incident was resolved after around an hour.
“Concern was raised this morning for the safety and welfare of an individual who was on the roof of a property in Northgate Street, Aberystwyth,” said Dyfed Powys Police in a statement.
“The individual is now safe and receiving the appropriate assistance.”

“There will be a full closure of Northgate Street until further notice.”
At 8.20am, they added: “All restrictions in Aberystwyth have now been lifted with all roads reopened to the public. Thank you for your patience.”
