WHAT better venue for a ghost hunt than a historic courtroom where criminals were sentenced to death by public execution?
Join K&M Paranormal for a ghost hunt at the Judge’s Lodging, in Presteigne, later this year.
“This historic courtroom was first used in 1829, and for more than 150 years was a place where hundreds of people were tried, many of whom paid the ultimate price for their terrible crimes and were sentenced to death by public execution,” said Powys-based K&M Paranormal on their Facebook page.
“Many of the dangerous criminals have refused to leave the building after their death.
“The damp, dimly lit cells below the courtroom have been known to slam shut all by themselves – followed by terrible scraping, growling and knocking sounds from inside.
“Are you brave enough to join us here?”
This event is being held on Saturday, May 7, from 7.30pm-1.30am, priced at £36. Tea/coffee and snacks will be provided.
