RESIDENTS have been warned to stay indoors after a fire broke out at a building on an industrial estate near the Powys border.
A picture taken from the scene, at the Glan yr Afon Industrial Estate, near Aberystwyth, show smoke and flames billowing out of the building, which is reportedly a depot belonging to Ceredigion County Council.
“The road at Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth, is currently closed due to a fire at the Industrial Estate,” tweeted Dyfed-Powys Police just before 3pm.
“We urge local residents to keep their windows closed and to stay indoors until further notice. Please avoid the area whilst we are in attendance.”
