A 33-year-old man from Llandrindod Wells has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and making threats to kill.
Officers were called to the Golf Links Road area at around 3.10pm on Friday, October 29, following reports by members of the public. According to eye witnesses the man was seen brandishing a shotgun and acting menacingly.
DI Fay Lantos of Dyfed Powys Police thanked the public for their cooperation during the incident, and reassured the community that there was no cause for further concern.
