TWO motorists stopped in Powys on Thursday (March 4) tested positive for driving with drugs in their systems.
Dyfed Powys Police said one male driver was stopped on the A489 – which travels through Montgomeryshire, from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth – for crossing solid white lines and provided a positive drug swipe.
They said another driver in Newtown also provided a positive test.
Powys Roads Policing unit tweeted: “Male driving on the A489 contravened solid white lines before providing positive drug swipe.
“Another driver stopped in Newtown and provided positive drug swipe. 2 drivers arrested for Drug driving.”
