Police are appealing for information after two people were charged with burgling Morrisons in Welshpool

Dyfed-Powys Police have said that they have arrested and charged Scott Sterling, 18 and Alexander Caldwell, 21 on suspicion of burglary and aggravated burglary.

This comes after a number of vapes were stolen form the store in two burglaries on Tuesday April 16 and Thursday April 18 in the early hours of the morning.

A spokesperson for the force, said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating two burglaries at Morrisons in Welshpool, both occurred at approximately 02:45am on Tuesday, April 16, and Thursday, April 18.

“A number of vape pens were stolen on both occasions from the store.

“Scott Sterling, aged 18 and Alexander Caldwell, aged 21, were arrested and charged with burglary and aggravated burglary.

“They were remanded to appear at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Monday April 22, where they were further remanded to appear at Swansea Crown Court on May 24.”

Dyfed-Powys Police are encouraging anyone who may have seen any or know anything that may be helpful to get in touch.
